After going to Africa last year on behalf of Operation Smile Jessica realized that she had to divorce Nick Lachey!
She explains, “I went there on our three-year wedding anniversary. He stayed home. On that day, everything became so clear. I was in hospitals with all these sick kids, and I was looking at the beauty of this whole different world. I just knew I needed to find something more in my life – on my own. “

When she got back she asked Nick for a divorce appearently. I am usually one to defend Jessica. NO IM NOT TEAM JESSICA, but I dont feel like Nick has gotten off easy with good PR…. However, this is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. First, why did she go on her anniversary and not a week before or after. I think the marriage was way over before this!
