Eva Longoria pissed off close pal Jessica Simpson by hanging out with John Mayer. When Jessica found out Eva was hanging with John Mayer tat Gold Bar on Broome Street, she “went nuts,” said an insider. “When Jessica heard that Eva was being friendly and polite to John, she called her a back-stabber and was furious.”
A rep for Simpson, who’s now happily dating Dallas Cowboy quarterback Tony Romo, told us, “There’s no truth to Jessica being upset with Eva Longoria. They are great friends.”
