In her first interview since leaving rehab last Friday, Lohan insists that she and Tony Allen, lead singer in the rock band Dead Stays Alive, are just friends.
She has attempted to set the record straight following allegations that she had sex with Allen in a toilet in the Cirque Lodge clinic in Utah, where they met while receiving treatment. Claims came after Allen’s wife Stephanie, whose family is worth ?720m, started divorce proceedings.
Lohan told US magazine In Touch Weekly: “Rumors are rumors. I don’t really have anything to say about that. Tony and I were just friends and if anyone has anything negative to say, I would just like to ask, ‘Why?’”. Lohan added: “We were just friends and that was it.”
The 21-year-old troubled star has also revealed that there is a new man in her life and that her “self-destructive” partying days are over. Her new boyfriend is 25-year-old snowboarder Riley Giles who she met during her stay at the rehab centre. “Yes, I am seeing someone.I am really happy and taking it day by day.”
