The Spice Girls added three new London dates to their tour last night after seats sold out in 38 seconds. The hottest tickets in town are already selling on eBay for nearly $2000. More than one million people had registered for the reunion at the O2 Arena in London on December 15.
Those who were successful were told via e-mail or text yesterday morning that they could buy tickets. Scary, Sporty, Ginger, Posh, and Baby begin the tour in Vancouver, Canada, on December 2.? The three new London dates will be December 16 and 18 and January 2. The girls will also play LA, Las Vegas, New York, San Jose, Shanghai, Madrid, Beijing and Cape Town.
A source said: ?We knew it would be big ? but no-one dreamed it?d be this big.? The girls ? Geri Halliwell, 35, Victoria Beckham, 33, Emma Bunton, 31, Melanie Brown, 32, and Melanie Chisholm, 33 ? have sold more than 55m records.? Source
