This is the stangest rumor of the week. Accoridng to a radio station in Minneapolis Magic Johnson "faked" having Aids to become famous. How ridiculous is this - it was not as if Magic was not famous at the time and who would fake they had aids/HIV. Give me a break it seems a little strange to fake aids/HIV to get out of a contract. Anyway the radio station is cleaning up the mess left by the two moronic DJs who theorized on-air that Magic Johnson has been faking being HIV positive. Not funny!
"According to a partial transcript and audio clip posted on a media watchdog site, mediamatters.org, the remarks came after a caller complained about demands on workers. Perry responded by asking about treatable diseases that a person can live with for a long time "if you just get some basic drugs."
Baker responded, "Like Magic Johnson?"
Perry replied, "Like Magic with his faked AIDS. Magic faked AIDS."
Baker said, "You think Magic faked AIDS for sympathy?"
Perry replied, "I’m convinced that Magic faked AIDS."
"Me too," Baker said.
KTLK the radio station has released a statement to TMZ saying, "KTLK recognizes the seriousness of the health issues presented by HIV / AIDS — and the great work that Magic Johnson has done … We regret that some off-hand remarks by commentators on KTLK did not reflect that. To better inform our listeners and employees, KTLK will be airing HIV/AIDS awareness public service announcements, and will be reaching out to Mr. Johnson to get his thoughts on education efforts." I wonder if there is a law suit in the radio station’s future? These employees should be fired!

Wow, some people should really think before they speak. Perhaps if they did they wouldn’t be jumping around with a foot in their mouths. I’m sorry you fake colds to call into work or fake a headache to get out of some late night naughty time, you don’t fake a major disease. What insensitive jerks. I say the radio station trades those to losers in for more educated models. Really the nerve of some people. Can you say lawsuit?
There has been a conspiricy theory said before that said that Magic Johnson was paid out by the goverment to say he had AIDS. This way the goverment could use him to promote AIDS awarness and to show the world that it wasn’t just a Gay mans disease. To show the world that strong vital strong straight men can get it too. When he announced it people still believed it was just a Gay mans diesease. The reasons they believe this theory is because most people who had aids at the time he came out with it have passed away. The mediciens were not out then like the are now. Magic still is alive and looking as vital as he did back then.
Do I think he faked having aids? I don’t know. I just wanted to share that theory that way you may know why some people would say such things.
