Friends Reunion Movie On The Way

The highly anticipated film production of TV series Friends has finally been given the go-ahead, MailOnline is reporting. Cast members Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer will reprise their roles for a big-screen adaptation ‘within the next 18 months’, according to insiders.

The actors have been inspired by the recent success of Sex And The City, which recently hit cinemas worldwide. The highly anticipated film production of TV series Friends has finally been given the go-ahead.

A source said: ‘Jennifer, Courteney and the rest of the cast are keen to reprise their roles, under the right circumstances. ’The box office success of Sex And The City has really got their wheels spinning about how a Friends film could be just as big, if done right.

‘Timing and the script are really important, but now that Courteney and Jen both have production companies, they can potentially get very involved in those decisions.’ Talk of a reunion for the loveable gang from New York’s Central Perk has been bandied around Hollywood ever since the show aired its final season in 2004. While Cox, 44, LeBlanc, 40, Perry, 39, Kudrow, 45 and Schwimmer, 41, were believed to be keen on the reunion, Aniston, 39, is believed to have dragged her heels.

Now, however, she is keen to move ahead with the project, which will be produced by Warner Bros. Source

if they do make a friends movie they need the original gang, gunther, janice, eddie (chandlers crazy old roomate), carol and susan, ben, mona, emma, the gangs parents, the old apartments, richard burk, & phoebes brother and triplets, rachels sisters, ursula, joeys sisters, mabye something about mr heckles, rachels boss at ralph lauren, something about estelle leanord, marcel the monkey, chick and duck, that janitor guy treager, oblviously ugly naked guy, mabye have emily wathum want ross back… huh pretty cool, mike hannigan, also mark robinson the guy who ross hates, mabye pete becker he he, and this is a must David the scientist guy he doesnt have to go for phoebe but just have him show up for some reason, mabye tag jones,

Being that I am a TOTAL freak about FRIENDS, I would love!! a movie about FRIENDS. I would go to the theaters a million times to see it… and Def. rent it a million times and then buy it. As popular as FRIENDS was & still is, there is no doubt that the stars would recieve the $$$ they want. But from what I hear, Jennifer Aniston doesn’t want to take her role as Rachel. Rachel isn’t like her other “seductive” type roles in her movies recently, but she is still a sexy woman & I wish she would return for one last time for her & the rest of the FRIENDS cast fans. As popular as she is, this will not ruin her “Big” “sexy lady” movie career life! Please Jen, do it for the fans! & as many fans that are out there, making this a top charter won’t be a problem!!
(It will def be in my collection of all the seasons, books, cards, and other collectable of FRIENDS)

Wow Kelly ur a kewl fan!!! so is it true they’re gonna do a movie. i havent even seen the first seasons that much but i love it they r re runs on tv i suddenly started to feel sad when the last episode was comin near but plz all the cast and crew do it for ur great fans make a movie and youll see ur gonna win an oscar coz evry1 loves frends i dont even no 1 prson who hates frends. Merrymoo is completely right, I noticed that baur powerwas mentioning some pretty far off ideas when it comes to the return from the sdead estelle, and if I am not mistaken doesnt treager die as well, remember the broomstick episode or am I way off by my assumption? Ps, If this movie DOES roll on, I need to know a date for a casting call for extras!!!
