Madonna’s US Album Sales Continue To Drop!

Billboard is reporting that Madonna’s album sales continue to decline in the US and say that her new album, Hard Candy, is now projected to only sell between 200,000 and 225,000 copies in its opening week. Not great for Madonna and I suspect that is why she is pushing the limit with the suggestive perfomance below with Justin Timberlake at a promotial performance last night.

Madonna pinned Justin Timberlake up against the wall during a performance in New York last night. I don’t know this is just a bit distrubing he is so young. It seems like a desperate attempt to resurrect her career.

Get over yourselves, its USA sales figures. Globally no one cares about their figures anyways. Madge went to #1 in the countries that matter. USA needs to seriously get over itself when it comes to music. Its clueless and manufactured by corporate suits lacking any kind of substance.

I just notice articles on the web
stating that tickets were a quick sell out…

Well, if you check in Amsterdam, Boston, NY, Cardiff, London, Nice.. and on…

none of those shows are sold out…

I had a dinner party this week end and Madonna came up on the subject….

We all agreed that tickets were too expensive… what someone would have to do for me ,to pay them 350$ for 90 minutes …..hum…..

she might be disconnected from everyday people financial reality….

After the confession tour revenues being posted everywhere.. as records of all time…
It spread a taste of selfishness and arrogance at the same time…

how much more money does she needs?
Even if she’s sharing it to good causes.. it comes from our pockets in the first place… I d like to choose where I give…

Hi people, check out the Global track chart web site for global sales around the world,Madonna has been the world’s best selling artist for the past month and Hard Candy was number one in 27 countries….do I need to say more?

Its not her fault at all, within 3 months the album has sold more than 2 million copies worldwide. In all the Industry is suffering, I’m suprised she even had another number 1 record. Plus its already passed gold status. Of course its not going to be a multi-platinum album, but it still will go platinum. Hopefully Madonna will chose the best singles of the album to help pump up sales.

I love the comments about the USA getting over ourselves and the countries that matter blah blah Madonna’s an American morons! Not only is she an American but she is the model of what America looks like. Materialistic, overly spiritual, troubled psyche, extremely competative, overtly sexual, controlling, and successful to name a few. Madonna’s longevity has outlived many other performers who’s popularity has waned. Think of all the groups and singular performers who have come and gone since the early 80s, while Madonna is going strong; continuing to reinvent herself. Madonna lives by her own rules, which is part of what makes her a cultural, pop icon of our time, and contributes to her popularity among the masses. Plus she is a humanitarian, and one of the few performers who endorses/advocates AIDSWALK here in NYC.

The other side of the world has long been ahead of the U.S. in music by a decade or more. Madonna has realized this long ago and made a good transition into electronic music.
I love Madonna and techno but this album in my oppinion sounds like nursery rhymes. I jumped jumped jumped fom a fuzzy tree, you never would believe the things that i have seen…. for example. I still love her and will buy what ever she sells.
