Amidst the daily routine of checking the more "serious" news sites for those worldly updates, comedians Nadine Rajabi and Natasha Leggero have emerged with a breath of fresh air in their new online seriesThe Skinny: Fat-Free News, with a spin on the daily news-feeds. I mean, who needs to know about the election when there’s a stinging report on women being biologically programmed to seek rich husbands?
Rajabi, a veteran comic and regular in the New York/LA comedy scene, created The Skinny with fellow comic and pal Leggero. Available on MyspaceTV – HERE, The Skinny is a 13-episode web series featuring these sassy ladies in two-to-three minute episodes, released every Thursday, as they report the news and discuss the trends of the day from their offbeat, Hollywood-infused perspectives. Everything is fair game as the stylish duo delivers unconventional points of view through slightly absurd but completely real news stories that are brought to viewers from the front lines of politics and pop culture.
