Imagine having to live with Madonna and her irrational food fads and increasingly bizarre attempts to hold back time – via surgery, exercise and every therapy going – certainly had to have contributed to the failure of her marriage.
How could anyone expect a man to put up with the insanities of Madonna? How was Guy suppose to react to:

A macrobiotic diet Madonna ruled what was permitted: she chose the precise blend of Colombian coffee and tutted over the exact provenance of air-freighted Canadian blueberries.

Madonna forbade TV, no newspapers, and no welcome for Guy’s ’London’ friends

No dairy was allowed – tea had to be with rice milk.

Meat is only very occasionally present on the menu.

Madonna banned sugar entirely, she also banned cheese, cream, salt and preservatives
Add to all of this Madonna does not trust any restaurants and when she went to them she usually sipped water and refused to eat. Madonna controls everything about food and the way they ate. Add to that the fact that her exercise routine was never less than two hours a day, six days a week. She is terrified to get fat. ‘I’m not going to slow down, get off this ride, stay home and get fat,‘ she told a magazine.
Her fear increased this year as she approached her 50th birthday this year, Madonna turned from chemical peels, Botox and fillers to full-scale cosmetic surgery, a fact reported after she was pictured walking about with black eyes and bruises. Add all this together and imagine how unbearable it was being married to this vain vain women!
