Miley better change her team or whomever is giving her advice. This was Mileys excuse for the photoshoot – I must say it is getting old! : “I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed. I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.”
Disney issued the following statement: “Unfortunately, as the article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines."
Vanity Fair have said that Mileys parents were on set the whole time so they can’t say they didn’t know what the shots looked like: “Miley’s parents and/or minders were on the set all day. Since the photo was taken digitally, they saw it on the shoot and everyone thought it was a beautiful and natural portrait of Miley.”
Miley told Bruce Handy who was interviewing her that she loved the shots saying: “Annie took, like, a beautiful shot, and I thought it was really cool. That’s what she wanted me to do, and you can’t say no to Annie. I think it’s really artsy. It wasn’t in a skanky way.”
Miley can’t make out that she didn’t know what the photos looked like she said that she liked them her parents were on set the whole time who also saw the photos. I don’t think Vanity Fair should have taken the photos but there not at fault for this her team are and especially her parents who were on set the whole time. Source
