Update on Timbit Our Rescued Cat!

For everyone who sent wishes, donations, encouragement & e-mails over the past couple of months, here are some pictures of Timbit with one of my other three cats Melo. Timbit is now a happy part of our family. For a while I was worried he was not going to fit in and even looked at the possibility of adoption for him. However, over the past couple of months he has slowly started to trust us and the last week we have been able to approach him without him running away. Timbit is beginning to trust us more and more everyday. He gets along well with the other cats and is constantly trying to “spoon” with them. It is interesting for a feral cat he has adapted well, much better than I had thought!

Hi Lynn:

Thank u so much and I am sorry it took so long. As you can see Timbit is very happy. That is Melo he is with the white cat and Timbit is in love with him. I have two other persians Cocoa and Lily. Timbit is the same size as Cocoa and they often jump around and play. They also spoon with each other it is so cute. He really has integrated into the “cat” family. Lily our white persian is the queen and she is very anti-social she underweighs all of them – she only weighs 6 lbs and is full grown but she can give them a look and they all run. It is very comical since Timbit and Cocoa are almost 14 lbs each….. and when she gives them a look they both run in the other direction and not bother her.

Timbit is becoming a very social, mom was able to cut his nails last week and this is a big accomplishment.

It was touch and go for a while very very difficult with him, but we did not give up. Mom says NO more cats. A family of four is enough :-)
