Sarah Palin is the number one person on google search and the first female nominee in 164 years to be on a Republican presidential ticket. People want to know about her. As a fellow woman I am insulted that Oprah thinks we are idiots! She released the following statement, vis a vis having Sarah on her show "I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates"
Give me a break, she is a hypocrite! Does she forget or does she think we forgot she introduced Barack Obama to women around the world; she has been on the Barack Obama presidential campaign bandwagon since before he announced that he was running for president. She previously hosted a fundraiser for the democrat senator, has been the MC to many of his rallies, lured crowds, volunteers, and not to mention donations, to his political campaign. She has time and time again used her television show as a platform to promote Barack Obama.
If she does not want to have Sarah on her show because she does not want to do anything to jeopardize her support of Obama, at least be honest enough to tell the truth. I would respect her more if she would simply be honest rather than lying.
Oprah issued a statement which clearly stated she would not to have Palin on her couch anytime soon. Of course being Oprah and hedging her bets she does say that "I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over."
Just another reason why I don’t watch this sanctimonious women’s television show.
