They do allow medications for medical conditions. Problem lies with the issue was Grand Mal seizures which medications are prescribed by psychiatrists, which $cientology doesn't allow. look up about Tory Christman, she suffered for many years seizures caused by epilepsy and finally was only allowed seizure medication after the COS was sure she would continue to at least pay for courses. Besides the fact the "nanny" watching Jett was a wedding photographer that travels around with the Travoltas(can we say gay love affair?) this wedding photographer wasn't qualified to watch a child, especially not a handicapped child.
