Georgia May Jagger has been named as the new face of Rimmel London. Georgia 17 years old is the daughter of Rolling Stones Sir Mick Jagger and supermodel Jerry Hall. She has signed a deal with the cosmetics company to front their spring/summer 2010 campaign alongside supermodel Coco Rocha. The cosmetic giant, which counts Kate Moss, Lily Cole and Sophie Ellis-Bextor among its spokespeople.
Stephen Mormoris, senior vice president of global marketing at Coty Beauty, said of Georgia’s appointment: "We needed a wider palette of faces to show the makeup results of our new products. Rimmel embodies the London look, which is very resonant with young people all over the world who look to London as a centre of multiculturalism and freedom of expression. "Georgia is edgy, experimental and provocative."
