Roman Polanski in Switzerland awaiting extradition to the USA on child rape charges has been granted bail. His is in the form of house arrest in Switzerland wearing a monitor that shows his presence at all times. If the failure of these ankle bracelet monitors in the USA is any guide we should be seeing Roman walking the streets of Paris in no time at all.
