For beating Rihanna Cris Brown has been sentenced to 5 years probabtion and six months of community labor. He was formally sentenced today for the February 2009 attack. He will serve his sentence at the Commonwealth Catholic Charities in Richmond, VA, where he must also take a 52-week domestic violence course.
Chris must also keep in touch with the Probation Department and is subject to search and seizure 24/7 for the next 5 years. He can’t own any dangerous weapon, including guns or knives. He cannot leave the country without permission.
Seems to me he should have spent a little quality time in jail. With a slap on the wrist like this I am willing to bet he will be in trouble again in a couple of months. I am surprised the judge gave him such a light sentence, "Celebrity Justice" strikes again!
