The Church of Scientology has been sentenced to fraud and has been fined a whopping $900,000 in France. There were rumors that they were going to ban the Scoientology group but that did not happen.
Investigators said the group pressured members into paying large sums of money for questionable financial gain and used "commercial harassment" against recruits. The church sect not one to take things lying down will appeal.
