What you just wrote was judgmental, unfounded, and most of all prying into the personal life of a respectable person. While Woods has no doubt let down himself and his family, you have no right to criticize him for something you can’t even prove. If I have to choose between the word of Tiger Woods, who has been able to keep rags less credible than your blog from touching his name for years, and one of the attention hungry individuals who grace VH1′s “Tool Academy,” the decision seems fairly clear to me.

In one of your later posts, you state that a woman had been taken to the hospital from woods’ home. Did you even listen to what the newscasters were saying? Your credible source, FOX News (come on, really?), states repeatedly, “emergency at Woods’ home,” and splashes this across the screen. However, when they relay what “eyewitness” accounts had told them, they themselves state that all they know is that the woman came from his neighborhood, not his home, and that what they were splashing across your television set was nothing more than what is “thought to be” (their words).

The fact that you can jump to condemn him when the only thing you truly know is that he made a mistake AND IS SORRY truly saddens me.

Everyone can guess as to what really happened before some real truth comes to light. Until then, keep your thoughtless and judgmental mouth shut.

Well, until I saw your posts made today I hadn’t cared at all about the scandal. He probably did a lot of things he shouldn’t have, but he also probably hasn’t done a lot of the bad things me or a lot of other people do, we just choose to blow his faults out of proportion and skew views because he’s famous.
And I’m not saying the evidence doesn’t exist, but rather that you have yet to provide it. In your blog’s last day or so of providing information on this subject, the only sources cited have been popeater, TMZ, and FOX news. There have been five articles, two without any sources or even a courtesy mention of “insider reports,” à la TMZ’s carefully worded overdose article.
The fox news report did little to convince me that there was a trip made to the hospital from Tiger’s home, due to the statements commented on in my last post and the channel’s tendency to bend/exaggerate the truth for shock value. (I’m not saying there is another news source which is bias or skew free, but at least take into consideration how your source could be portraying this news. i.e. the way you took their video and advertised their statements as fact when they stated expressly “it is thought”)
Lastly, the popeater article which you linked only had hear-say evidence (close friend) along with a reference to TMZ again, the National Enquirer, and radaronline. While I’ll admit a lot of those stories could be based in fact, few of them even attempt to show it. I refuse to accept any source willing to seriously print stories about batboy or proof of aliens on earth, and radaronline stated they alone had “proof” of Woods’ adultery but couldn’t show that they even had it, or even hint where they got it.
In this article, you once again provide no evidence, but rather just state “fact.” It could very much be true, but I would have no way to know it.
My main concern is with the insults and slander thrown about this blog’s entire last day of posts. I have yet to see evidence for most of your reports about this issue, and, yet, you seem to be treating them ALL as fact. I believe you are spreading hate and condemnation without providing a reasonable amount of rational evidence. I (and even your source, popeater’s article on all of the women coming out about Woods: a typical credibility line containing “looks that way” or “seems to add up”) have withheld the final judgment you seem to dole out so easily. Your sources say “probably,” and you scream “definitely.”
Today, this blog has displayed nothing more than actions akin to the mischievous child purposely screwing up the game of telephone, replacing real information with cheap, devastatingly pink emotionalism.
Perhaps your ineptitude at correctly relaying a message isn’t on purpose. Maybe it stems from periodic short-term memory loss, which indicates you’d normally be unfit to maintain a site such as this, and had to fight against the opinions and assumptions of others concerning your abilities, just to get to the minor pinnacle your life has brought you to today. If so, I’m sorry. That must really suck.

i do, but not pop culture ones). Yours was the first I even bothered to read, congrats.
You say everyone knows the truth and that there are many sources. I say you assume the truth and have provided no sources. I never said I expect courtroom justice. What I do expect, however, is accountability. I guess I assumed that you were trying to provide real information and commentary. Guess that whole “when you assume…” saying applies to how I misconstrued your shallow attempt at entertainment.
I don’t work for Woods, I don’t care about his character or his image. I don’t buy his products, I don’t watch his commercials, I’m not a fan of his, and I don’t care about his personal affairs. Really, if I were getting paid to protect his image, I wouldn’t be wasting my time in the hopes that maybe, just maybe, one of the 99 readers of your blog would scroll allllll the way to the bottom of this article just so they might read this. This is for you and you alone. This is a call for you to at least act semi-professional about the words you publish. This is a request for you to provide something to support what you say.
Take for instance your article about his advertisements. You headline the article with how he is losing his prime-time spots, yet you don’t provide a source for that claim. I’m not saying it isn’t true, the man has lost a lot of sponsership not just since the scandal, but also since sales of his products declined over this last year. For example: Gatorade.  (Like how I did that? I made a statement, and then backed it up with a CREDIBLE source) You say they are disgusted by his behavior, but you have yet to provide a quote or even a mention of who these disgusted sponsors are.
I don’t have a problem with your views, I have a problem with such strong insults/claims being thrown around without so much as a mention of where it was learned.
You apparently are publishing this for two types of readers: 1. People who don’t care where the information came from, but just want a juicy story and some mind-numbing insults. 2. People who spend all their free time prying into the personal lives of others, gorging themselves on the “many sources” which you expect me, your reader, to already know about.
I’m sorry, I don’t have the time to find all these sources for scandalous information. That is why I expect you, the business women with the “successfully developed… celebrity blog concept” to take the two extra seconds required to provide it when you decide to publish your claims.
You say repeatedly that Woods is a drug user as if in his case its a crime. Nowhere on your entire blog do you mention that he was prescribed those medications. You leave it up to the reader to make the assumption whether he got them from a doctor or whether he obtained them illegally. Those drugs were legally prescribed to him and are not on the PGA’s list of banned substances, and yet your insults make him out to be a criminal drug abuser. How do you know his OD wasn’t caused by a suicide attempt, or simply depression? How do you know his alleged “ambien sex” wasn’t simply the product of taking his medication and not immediately going to sleep?

Oh, and if you’re wondering, yes, I am simply wasting your time. I believe tabloids, celebrity gossip, and popular culture are nothing more than an opportunity to make light of social situations. I believe anyone who takes this stuff as seriously as you seem to seriously needs to reevaluate their priorities in life.

Either that or I got super, duper stoned and became lost in your pink alice-in-wonderland dimension of pointless derision. See, that explains it, right? I’m a druggie, not a moron. My hypothalamus has been smoked away and now I can’t retain long-term information. I can, however, still critique your poorly maintained “success,” as you repeat the same insults over and over without revealing any truth. Seriously, get over yourself. Nobody’s perfect, especially not you.
I’d like you to do something for me. Look at yourself in the mirror and say, “I’m really doing the world some good on my celeb gossip blog by taking all those celebrities down a peg.” If you can say that to yourself without even a smirk or a giggle, then you’re a huge bitch. Congrats. The entertainment business has successfully gotten one more person to rot from the inside out.

Okay, just wanted to preface this a bit by letting you know that I laughed really, really hard after reading your last post. Okay, onward to the sarcasm-

You are a true patriot, thank you for the service you have provided your country. I truly admire your brave admonition of being vertically handicapped. Everywhere you look people are siding against Woods. I really don’t think you can call yourself part of the minority, so by “little people” you must mean some sort of midget, dwarf, or other kind of small friend. You, miss, are a brave soul in a dark world.
By now it should be obvious that I would never seriously read your site, many of your un-sourced claims are NOT common knowledge (specific examples have already been pointed out – you just obviously don’t care), and your ability to say nothing new while using several different words is truly compelling.
While I agree that you certainly do express your freedom in your writing, what you publish is a far, far cry from just. Ask your blog’s founder the meaning of that word, as somewhere down the line you seem to have forgotten it (unlike the word “moron,” you seem to remember that one pretty well – by the way, thanks for demonstrating the versatility of the word. It had never occurred to me that systematic overuse of it would exponentially increase it’s effectiveness). I’m sure her years majoring in poli-sci will help you figure it out.
You are not doing the world a service by being judge, jury, and executioner here in your little corner of the interwebs. If you think you are spreading anything other petty rumors and general distaste for the world, you are sadly mistaken. You must have really loved high school, everything you write is a throwback to that world of baseless drama and puberty. Either that or you were wildly unpopular, causing your endless attempts to go back and prove yourself in that thoughtless, 15-year-old manner. Please, please, please just give me a solid argument, instead of your blatant attempts at sounding wildly ignorant.
