Model Tried to Blackmail Cindy Crawford Over Photo of Bound Daughter

Via PopEater a German model was charged Thursday with trying to squeeze $100,000 out of Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber over a photo of their then-7-year-old daughter bound to a chair and gagged.

Edis Kayalar, 26, was recently deported to Germany and believed to be in Stuttgart. He has been charged with one count of extortion and if convicted could face up to two years in prison. He is a former model for HERMAEVENTS.

PopEater says the photo was reportedly taken by the couples nanny during a game of "cops and robbers," according to an affidavit obtained by the AP. The unnamed nanny has not been charged. According to affidavit, Kayalar stole the photo from nanny somehow and repeatedly tried to get money from Crawford and Gerber starting this July.  For more details on this story visit PopEater
