76 year old Roman Polanski was busted in Switzerland on a warrent for sex charges. Roman was trying to enter Switzerland when authorities stopped him and arrested him. Roman fled the United States when he admitted to having sex with a 13 year old girl and an arrested warrent was issued for him. Roman Polanski was accused of plying a 13-year-old girl with champagne and a sliver of a quaalude tablet and performing various sex acts, including intercourse, with her during a photo shoot at actor Jack Nicholson’s house. He was 43 at the time. Roman has lived in France for years and has avoided coming to the United States for years.
He was en route to the Zurich Film Festival, which is holding a tribute to him, when he was arrested by Swiss authorities, the festival said. I am not sure how anyone can hold a tribute or for that matter give awards to a rapist of a 13 year old girl. No word yet on whether the Swiss authorities will extradite him to the United States. We can only hope this rapist finally comes to justice!
