Roman Polanski has hired a Swiss law firm to represent him in the possible extradition to the USA. Eschmann & Erni secretary Gabriele Joesler says lawyer Lorenz Erni has been hired by Polanski. Poland’s Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski told the Polish news agency PAP that he and French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner would ask U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to offer Polanski clemency. I hope Hillary has the good sense to say NO how can you offer clemency to a man who raped a 13 year old girl? What justification can they find? Lock him up and throw away the key!
