The award show season kicks off January 17 with the Golden Globes. Why do we think fashion-loving, camera-attracting Blake Lively and Leighton Meester will be there? After all, they’re on the best show on TV (even though GG is not nominated. Booo!) If the Emmys were any indication, these young women take their award show fashion seriously. We have some suggestions for their Golden Globes gowns from the Fall 2009 Couture shows, bearing in mind that celebs tend to favor short, festive dresses for the Globes and traditional floor-draping gowns for the Oscars.
