With typical UN incompetence mega rich Antonio Banderas was selected as the Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations anti-poverty initiative. Somehow, the UN claims that they will cut the World’s poverty level in half by the year 2015. I mean it is a nice idea, cutting poverty by 50% in less than 5 years, but given that the world is in the midst of a major economic recession chances are poverty will not decrease significantly by 2015.
