Lindsay Lohan pictured above at her probation hearing today [07.06.10] So the judge did not believe Lindsay’s bullshit sob story of why she broke her parole agreement! Also the judge reminded Lindsay of all her past troubles including two DUI’s, reckless driving etc. The judge has decided that Lindsay has to surrender herself in two weeks and serve 90 days in jail. Once Lindsay has completed the sentence she will them do a 90 day stint in rehab. The 90 days in jail is three consequtive sentences stemming from her two DUI’s and reckless driving charge. Lindsay will have to keep the SCRAM bracelet on until she surrenders herself. Her lawyer tried to convince the judge to remove the bracelet and let her have random blood tests instead.
"I wasn’t expecting any special treatment except I have to provide for myself, I have to work," Lindsay said, addressing the judge directly before the sentence was handed down. Seems the judge decided that Lindsay had made a mockery of the Justice system one time too many.
The sentence is most likely the best thing that could have happened to Lindsay – maybe it will make her face reality and stop her from becoming another Hollywood statistic like Britney Murphy, Heath Ledger etc. But somehow I doubt it teach her anything! So what does the does the sentence mean in reality? Lindsay will probably only serve 25% percent of the time which means a big 23 days. PS – Lindsay cried when she heard the sentence – boo hoo!
