Vince Vaughn and his mommy Sharon jumped out of a plane over Lake Michigan as part of the opening act at Chicago’s Air and Water Show. They were each strapped to a member of the US Army Golden Knights parachute team, and a nervous-looking Vince was the first to jump before his mother followed suit. After they both made successful landings, the pair hugged each other. Vince said of the experience:
“That was the first time for both of us. That’s not exactly our hobby. “We weren’t nervous, we were more excited.”
As well as completing his first skydive, it was recently revealed Vince is to become a father for the first time. The 40-year-old funnyman’s wife Kyla Weber is expecting a baby and the pair are thrilled with the news. A source said: “They’re having so much fun together and they’re so excited to be first-time parents!”
It is not yet known when the tot is due.
Vince – who previously dated Jennifer Aniston – married real estate agent Kyla in January near his home city of Chicago in front of family and friends. The nuptials took place in an “opulent, historic house at Lake Forest Academy”.
