Must be nice to be able to afford to throw away $1 Million. That is just what loonies Randy Quaid and Evi Quaid did. The Quaids were scheduled to appear in court in Santa Monica, California yesterday [11.16.10l but for a second time were a no show. The Quaids are in Vancouver, Canada trying to seek asylum because they say Star Whackers are after them. Their attorney claims they did not show up at their scheduled court hearing because Canadian officials have confiscated their passports.
Warrants for the arrest of the “National Lampoon’s Vacation” star and his wife are still in effect. Judge Donna Geck said the $500,000 bail bonds placed on the couple had been forfeited. Essentially the status quo remains, it will be up to Santa Barbara District Attorney Joyce Dudley if she starts extradition proceedings against the Quaids.”
These two nut jobs should not be seeking asylum in Canada they should be seeking an insane asylum. If their goal is to spend some time at the state’s expense they are doing a good job assuring they will end up in jail.
