Celebrity Apprentice Bret Michaels Suffers Emergency Bout of Appendicitis

Just when he was about to take the stage at Sea World, Bret Michaels the front man for Poison found himself poisoned with an acute attack of appendicitis. Complaining of severe stomach pains Michaels, an insulin dependant diabetic, was rushed to the emergency room of a San Antonio hospital and an appendectomy was performed successfully.  Michaels is now doing well and is expected to be able to continue to tour with the band after a delay for recovery.  Photo: Fame Pictures
