Gary Coleman’s Wife Told 911 There Was “Blood Everywhere”

A recording of the 911 call made by Shannon Price, the widow of the late ‘Diff’rent Strokes’ actor – who passed away last Friday (28.05.10) from a brain haemorrhage – has been released and portrays her panicking down the phone to the operator.

She said: “I really don’t know what happened! There’s a lot of blood on the floor… There’s blood all over. And I can’t do anything."   She describes to the emergency caller how the 42-year-old actor was conscious but not his normal self when she found him with blood on the back of his head following a fall.    She said in the recordings published by TMZ.com: "It’s on the back of his head.   "I’m gagging. I’ve got blood on myself. I can’t deal.   "He’s conscious. But he’s not with it. I don’t know if he had a seizure or… what."

The 24 year old went on to urge Gary to put pressure on his wound and encourage him to sit down.  Gary was admitted to hospital following the fall at his home on Wednesday evening (26.05.10), but his condition was so bad his 24-year-old wife Shannon Price was forced to turn off his life support machine.   Although the pair had a tempestuous relationship – which saw Gary arrested in January over a domestic violence charge – police officers are convinced there is nothing suspicious about his passing.
