Katy Perry is expected to marry Russell Brand this weekend in India. Katy was spotted at the Jaipur airport wearing a nath. A nath is an Indian bridal nose ring. The tradition of the nath is for the virginal bride to wear it during her wedding day and the husband removes it on the weeding night as a sign her virginity is over. Wait a sec – didn’t that end a long time ago? :-) I don’t know what is up with them they are also expected to follow Hindu traditions including Katy getting henna tattooed the night before the wedding and Russell arriving on a white horse.
The wedding is expected to take place at Rambagh Palace the same place where Russell popped the question on New Year’s Eve. I have been to India and really cannot understand why they would choose to marry there. Either way Katy looks ridiculous wearing that she looks like she has golden snots coming out of her nose. ughhhh!
