If the judge finds that she has violated her probation then she will have it revoked and be immediately taken into custody. Lohan’s father, Michael, also attended the hearing – he just never misses an opportunity for publicity. Lindsay faces the hearing because she missed a court date in May and she has been required to wear an ankle alcohol monitoring bracelet since then. The prosecutor in the case is Danette Meyers and she will try to show that Lindsay had alcohol in her system at levels in violation of her parole agreement and that the bracelet has been tampered with.
Judge Marsha Revel says that a portion of the revocation hearing may have to be rescheduled since neither Meyers nor Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, are quite prepared to argue the bracelet’s impact on the case. This opens up the possibility that the judge may not be able to reach a decision on Lohan’s probation revocation today.
