National Country Music Band Gives Fans a Moment in the Spotlight

Soul Circus Cowboys, a country music band on fire, is having a contest with hopes of discovering country music’s next song-writer sensation. The lucky contest winner will have his or her song recorded in Nashville.

The idea for the contest came up after Soul Circus Cowboys was asked to record more songs in Nashville in the wake of great feedback to their single “Love’s Like A Rodeo.”

“I’m excited both about the band and the contest,” revealed guitarist, Terry Cole. ”Soul Circus Cowboys is full of experience.”   “Our lead singer, Billy McKnight, for example, is the best male vocalist that I know. I’m not just saying that as a fan, either. I’ve spent a considerable amount of time working in talent development, and I’m a vocal coach as well.  “Billy McKnight has a perfect pitch…and he can relay that to our audiences. I hope that Billy will have another set of lyrics to add to our repertoire as a result of this contest. This contest could also bring an unknown writer into the limelight of Nashville.”
