Paris Hilton was just charged with felony possession over her arrest for possession of cocaine on Friday. Perhaps now would be a good time to start worrying?
We’ve learned that the case has been filed by the Las Vegas District Attorney, citing Paris for felony cocaine possession. This is a charge that carries a sentence of one to four years if convicted, as well as a fine of $5,000.
According to the complaint, “Paris “Willfully, unlawfully, feloniously, knowingly, and intentionally possess a controlled substance, to-wit: Cocaine.”
At the hotel, Paris told the cop she needed lip balm so the cop handed Paris her purse: “As she began to open it, I saw a small bindle of what I believed to be cocaine in a clear baggie begin to fall from the purse and into my hand.”
The cop also says … inside the purse was a “broken tablet of Albuterol” — a prescription medication used to control wheezing. And cops say they found Zig Zag wrappers … commonly used to roll joints.
