The Swiss authorities have decided not to extradite Roman Polanski to the USA. In a decision not subject to appeal the Swiss court system has rejected the USA’s attempt to get Polanski to appear in court to be sentenced for his raping and drugging a child in 1977. Of course Switzerland was the country the collaborated with the Nazis allowing them to stash stolen money and property of their murdered victims during WWII. So can we really be surprised by this decision?
Polanski is free to go – free to celebrate his victory over justice. What a sad day for rape victims.
