Robert Pattinson Turns Down Burberry Modeling Deal

Robert Pattinson wants us all to know that he’s an actor and his modeling days are behind him. Robert was offered a $1 million modeling deal to be the face of Burberry, but has declined the offer, saying, “I’m an actor, not a model.”

In doing the modeling gig, he would follow in the footsteps of another star, Emma Watson….but apparently that wasn’t enough to tempt him.

A source said, “Christopher Bailey and the Burberry team were desperate to sign Robert as the main person in their new campaign. It would grace all their stores worldwide and be in all the best publications. They went to Robert but he immediately, politely, turned them, down. As far as Robert sees things he’s an actor by trade and that’s his art. He doesn’t want to start becoming a brand or anything.”

Perhaps Kim Kardashian and her ilk would fare well to follow his lead? It’s called oversaturation once you become a brand. People get sick of seeing your mug on everything and anything. Take notes, Kim.
