Some say yes and some say no. We say firmly NO! Having children in restaurants is okay at family restaurants – that is why they are known as FAMILY restaurants. But when the dining experience is meant to be special there is no room for loud noisy people, crying, screaming, banging and all sorts of typical kid-like effects.
Fine dining also tends to come along with really fine and high prices and nobody should impose their kids on others in such an environment. Imagine listening to crying cranky children while you and your dining partner are paying hundreds of dollars for a supposed fine dining experience. Exactly – no kids allowed!
