Vinny Guadagnino Says No Way Jersey Shore Is Sexist

Vinny Guadagnino has totally rejected claims that MTV’s hot reality series ‘Jersey Shore’ is sexist.  The star of the reality show was asked to explain what was meant when the men on the show referred to some women as ‘grenades’.

Vinny said:  “If you’re at a club and your friend takes a girl home and you’re his wingman and you have to take her friend – even if you’re not attracted to her – you’re sacrificing yourself.  That’s where the term comes from.  Like in war with grenades.”  We assume by the war reference that Vinny means jumping on the live grenade to contain the blast and shrapnel in order to save your nearby buddy?

“We have our catchphrases about girls but the four girls on the show are as wild as the guys. It’s not just one way. It’s not biased or sexist.”

Below is a web dictionary definition of the word ‘sexist’

1. Discrimination based on gender, especially discrimination against women.
2. Attitudes, conditions, or behaviors that promote stereotyping of social roles based on gender.

So we can see that not only is ‘Jersey Shore’ sexist – it is totally sexist.

For our added pleasure we got to learn what Vinny the philosopher had to say about Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi’s revelation that he has a large penis, Vinny boasted: “That was the best compliment I could get.  She was telling a story and just said it. Hopefully women will find it intriguing.”
