Abercrombie & Fitch Stock Drops After The Situation Diss

Earlier today, we had a laugh when we told you about how Abercrombie & Fitch offered a payment to Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino to lay off their branding.

They made the offer yesterday, in order to protect their brand from his possible negative attachment. Now, apparently that has backfired on them completely. Since making the offer to the Sitch, their stock has dropped nine percent!

Perhaps it really was a publicity stunt? A free one, in the beginning, but it is ending up costing them money. Who knew that Jersey Shore and their flunkies had so much of an impact?!?

A Sitch source said that A&F has never contacted them personally, nor have they offered them anything directly. Sounds a like a publicity stunt that went horribly wrong, what do you think?

Did you care that this douchetastic idiot was wearing their clothes? Did it make you want to buy more or less of the brand? Or are you like us, and just don’t care one way or the other? Sound off in the comments!
