Bachelor Pad 2 Premiere It’s All About Jake & Vienna!

Bachelor Pad 2 Premiere It's All About Jake & Vienna!

The second season of Bachelor Pad kicked off tonight, yep it is around for another season.   16 people who lost Bachelor/Bacholorette and two former winners will be competing.  They will be living in a mansion in LA in hopes of find true love or as true as it can get on a reality show and of course the winner also wins $250,000.   The money is probably the biggest motivation for being on the show!

Of course the ‘powers that be’ decided that this must see show had too much excitement to be seen in only an hour or two so the premiere was three hours.  I had to smack myself to stay awake.  I am serious,  that is longer than some movies today.

Anyway gotta stop complaining :-) There are a few changes this season.  First there will be no coed bunk beds, there are 18 contestants and the girls live upstairs while the guys live downstairs.   The voting system is the same, guys axe the girls and girls the guys.

Vienna Girardi was praying that Jake Pavelka would not be back.  Vienna told host  Chris Harrison she was praying he was not coming back.  Well her prayers were not answered and he sure is back.  Vienna made sure to prepare the other contestants for Jake and bashed him.  She told them he was a monster.

In the very first challenge of the evening, couples have to hold on for dear life. The couples are:  Kasey and Vienna, Justin and Ella, Alli and Graham, Holly and Michael, Blake and Melissa, Jake and Jackie, Michelle and Ames, Kirk and Erica, William and Gia.

The guys harnessed to a pulley system and lifted over a bed. They all have their partner’s legs and arms wrapped around them and are then lifted into the air about 10 feet or so and their partner has to hold on for dear life.  The couple that hold on the longest wins and that couple is Jake and Jackie.

Jake goes on a date with Jackie at El Capitan Theatre and he only has one thing on his mind, making up with Vienna!   Yep, you heard me right.   Jake publicly calls a truce by giving Vienna his rose for the night.   Kasey and Vienna don’t buy his truce, do you?   What happened over the past year, couldn’t Jake find a moment to make up then?   Does his pathetic attempt at a truce work?  Do we care?

One couple had to get the boot, tonight, it’s Alli Travis (Bachelor season 15)  and Justin “Rated R” Rego.    What do you think about the show?  Will you be able to watch this crap all season?  I doubt I will be able to!
