Beyonce Knowles is on the receiving end of a lawsuit after a video game company said she agreed to a contract to create a new game — and then backed out!

The company, Gate Five, claims that they had a deal with Beyonce to create a game titled, Starpower: Beyonce. According to the lawsuit, she entered into a deal with them on June 15, 2010, but they claim that “At a crucial moment in the project’s development, [she] made an extortionate demand for entirely new compensation terms she suddenly decided she wanted.”

The lawsuit states that Beyonce is in breach of their agreement, causing Gate Five to lose the $6.7 million investment in the business venture, as well as $100 million in profits upon its release. They claim that she destroyed their business and left 70 people out of work right before Christmas.
