Brad Pitt and Courteney Cox were once good buddies – back in the day before Angelina Jolie grabbed Brad right out from Jenifer Aniston’s bed and planted him in her own. Of course after Brad and Jennifer split Courteney took Jen’s side and became Brad’s sworn enemy, as any loyal girlfriend would.
Finally after years of the cold shoulder Courteney cut Brad a break at a mutual friend’s dinner party at the Hollywood restaurant Beso and the two former friends cozied up for a long overdue chat.
But then came Brad’s widely reported interview in which he blamed Jennifer for an unfulfilling marriage and driving him to excessive weed smoking… .
Courteney took a hairy canary when the news came out that Brad dumped on her busom buddy Jennifer.
According to an insider the truce between Brad and Courteney was OVER!
“But the truce did NOT last long,” reports the insider. “It ended when Brad appeared to diss Jennifer in that notorious magazine interview. Courteney literally erupted. She phoned Brad and read him the riot act – accusing him of being hurtful, disrespectful and rude.”
Even when Brad backtracked and tried to say that his statements were taken out of context Courteney was unforgiving of his remarks.
“But Courteney wasn’t about to let him get away with trashing Jen again. She stopped him dead and told him, ‘I don’t want to hear it. You’re the same insensitive man you were all those years ago.”
