David Hasselhoff Tames Drunken Mob

When David Hasselhoff showed up an hour late for his show, some drunken college students greeted the 58-year-old-star by throwing bottles of water at the stage and shouted ‘OFF, OFF, OFF.’

David was performing at The University of Hertfordshire in London on Friday.  Despite his rough reception, the actor and singer got the situation in hand – within 15 minutes, he’d apologized for being late, poked fun at himself and had the crowd of more than 1,500 liquored-up students shouting ‘HOFF, HOFF, HOFF!’

The former ‘America’s Got Talent judge’ got the crowd under control and continued his performance by singing the ‘Baywatch’ theme as well as his 2006 single ‘Jump In My Car.’

David is currently on his new job in the UK  – judging contestants on ‘Britain’s Got Talent.’   Hasselhoff recently replaced former judge Piers Morgan, who made a huge jump in status and takes over Larry King’s talk show on CNN starting Monday, January 17.
