In the wake of all the recent cancellations of new shows that succumbed to less than stellar ratings, one lucky gal is definitely on cloud nine. That would be Emily VanCamp, who stars in ABC’s new series, Revenge, which was picked up for another season.
I’ve yet to watch the show myself, but have heard good things about it – and I really enjoyed watching Emily on Brothers and Sisters. No doubt most celebrities have been on the edge of their seats anxiously anticipating the fate of their new shows (I’m talking about you Eddie Cibrian), but Emily can now rest assured and is all smiles. According to the actress via Etonline:
“I got a call from creator Mike Kelly during our lunch hour and I just started running around, screaming the news to everyone like some kind of nutjob.
We love doing the show and anticipating this moment has been a bit of a weight on our shoulders. So finding out was a massive sigh of relief and now Mike, who has the most amazing stuff up his sleeve, gets the opportunity to tell his story.”
Revenge airs Wednesdays at 10 pm – I’m going to have to give it a try!
