It’s been a while since singer Gavin DeGraw’s wildly successful album came out, and he hasn’t really had a hit since then. Could this new song, Not Over You, be his ticket back onto the charts?
This new single is off his new album, Sweeter, which will be available August 9th. DeGraw was assisted by powerhouse songwriter/producer Ryan Tedder when creating the album.
“Not Over You is about trying to get past someone emotionally,” DeGraw told AOL Music in an interview. “You create this scenario — you see them in your dreams and if you bumped into them, you would let them know that you’re doing fine and you’re past the breakup — but you’d be lying.”

DeGraw is scheduled to tour across North America with Maroon 5 and Train this July.
