And here goes another one! Samantha Ronson’s DUI arrest is somewhat different from all the other long list of celebs to take the walk of shame and have their mug snapped. Why you ask? Because she got arrested at 10:30 in the morning!!
The 33-year-old was arrested outside of Baker, California yesterday on her way home from a gig in Las Vegas. She was driving in her black Porsche when she was pulled over for speeding, only to be given a sobriety test, which she ultimately failed. She apparently refused to take a ‘roadside blow’, and was soon arrested at the scene. She told police she had slept and woke up early to get home.
Samantha was said to have been overly co-operative – no doubt embarrassed by her arrest after still being drunk in the morning. Sometimes when we think we’ve slept off the night before, all the booze is still in the old system. Once again, being the broken record that I am, drinking and driving is no laughing matter and someone could have gotten hurt – whether your cruising around in the morning or evening. Let’s hope everyone learns from this one.
