Joe Pesci, 68, was excited to be playing Angelo Ruggiero in the new ‘Gotti’ film alongside John Travolta. The character was Gotti’s close friend and his enforcer. Joe claims it was an done deal and he was offered $3 million for the role. To get into character Joe put on a whopping 30 lbs. Can you imagine what he looks like? Joe is 5′ 4″ and adding 30 lbs to that must make him look pretty plump! Now Joe is really pissed off and is suing the pants off the producers because he claims they reneged on their deal.
TMZ has more: But Pesci says after he was lured into making public statements about how happy he was to appear in the movie — which stars John Travoltaas John Gotti, Jr. — the producers pulled the deal, claiming Pesci breached the deal by trying to back out. Pesci claims he was offered a lesser role — playing Anthony “Gaspipe” Casso — for the lesser fee of $1 mil.
Joe is suing them for $3 million. I like Joe he is a great actor but he may be better off without this film. The film has been plagued with problems since the beginning. Furthermore, Lindsay Lohan is in this film so how can it be any good?
