Oh Joel McHale, you really slay me. Seriously, can we hole up together and have 800 tons of babies? Oh, you’ve done that already? We can make room for them…maybe.
Joel has become known for his role on the E! show, The Soup, and afterward his show Community. After Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries tied the knot on Saturday, we’re hearing some lovely little tidbits about Kim’s relationship with the network.
It’s a well known fact that Kim got her fame via a sex tape featuring Ray J. But, as our lovely man Joel informs us, you can’t say that on television!
When he was asked about whether or not the show received any backlash from people he’s picked on, it was obvious that he mentioned the sex tape a few too many times for E!‘s liking. Ha.
He said, “I know the Kardashians don’t like me. No one has said, ‘how dare you’, reality stars without exception have come up to me and have said, ‘Thank you for making fun of me.’ We made so much fun of Jake Pavelka, and he responded by coming on the show. With the Kardashians, we’re not allowed to say they have a sex tape anymore because the network flips out. Tyra Banks was the only one that tried to make us not feature her show on ours, but then she changed her tune, and then she went off the air, much to our great disappointment.”
And it would’ve been the most perfect time to mention Kim’s sex tape this weekend, don’t you agree? Ray J sure had a chuckle about it in Las Vegas, so why not the rest of the planet?
