Jon Cryer Was Stunned At Charlie Sheen's Meltdown

Now that Chuck Lorre has gone ahead and hired Ashton Kutcher for the next season of Two And A Half Men, Jon Cryer is finally speaking out about his former co-star, Charlie Sheen.

During the whole thing, Jon only poked fun at himself. Now, he admits that no one saw the media firestorm that Charlie created, coming. In a new interview, he said, “We didn’t see where it was going. This has never happened before. Honestly, it wasn’t like, back in 1963 everybody remembers when Fred MacMurray went bats**t and started talking about Freemason ninjas and stuff. He was crazy! And Vivian Vance started urinating on the set of Here’s Lucy. You remember that? That was great fun! Nobody was prepared for this. I did not see it coming. Nobody saw it coming….”

He continued, “None of us wanted to continue with the show if we felt it was hurting him, and there was a point when everyone felt like… there was no control here. When it shut down, it was the end of the world for some people. There are a lot of fans of the show…and when we shut down, it hit people hard.”

In the end, Jon said that he only wants the best thing for Charlie, adding, “I want him to stay sober, I want him to be reunited with his family. That would be the best thing.”
