Guess who has taken up bodybuilding? Justin Beiber! It seems that the world’s most popular teenager is determined to improve his physique and is prepared to put in the hard work it takes to get it done.
The picture was taken on December 16, when Bieber was spotted doing physical exercise at a backstage gym in Greenville, NC with trainer Dolvett Quince. Apparently Justin was doing hard work to perfect his body shape with chinups, bench-presses, stretches – an entire bodybuilding routine.
Now the 17-year-old singer has been trying to seriously train and bulk up and has hired Jordan Yuam, the same professional trainer that handled “Twilight” ‘s Taylor Lautner. Bieber is about 5’5″ tall and weighs 130 pounds, and a source said that the star wants “ripped abs, bulging biceps, and cut thighs”.
A source said, “Since Justin is often on the road, he and Jordan connect for supervised workouts online through iChat or Skype”.
Justin also follows a healthy “high-protein” diet by including fats from nuts and avocados, as well as protein shakes. Occasionaly the tennager emerges and Justin enjoys junk food like Doritos and Fruit Roll-Ups. Nevertheless, his voice coach Jan Smith says that Justin is pretty good about his diet. Smith said, “He (Bieber) eats healthy”.
Jon Chu, the director of “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never”, revealed that Bieber loves to run around with his shirt off all the time. Even earlier this year, Justin flaunted his firm tummy to Rihanna in a NYC restaurant. The “Umbrella” songstress tweeted, “Justin Bieber just flashed me his abs in the middle of a restaurant! Wow! He actually had a lil 6 pack! Sexy, lol!”
If Justin sticks with his bodybuilding it will no doubt be a great boon for the sport as every teen will need a set of weights or a gym membership… hopefully Justin will stay off steroids.
