Marg Helgenberger is most known for starring on CSI, but to the many Beliebers out there, she will now be know as the woman who called Justin Bieber “a brat!” Helgenberger was recently on a French radio station talking to an interviewer from Europe1.   Marg, who plays investigator Catherine Willows, talked about Bieber’s behavior while on set, playing a teenage bomb expert named Jason McCann for two episodes on CSI.

“I shouldn’t be saying this, but he was kind of a brat,” she said. “He was very nice to me. But he locked one of the producers in a closet and he put his fist through a cake that was on the cast’s table.”

Locked a producer in a closet!?   It had to have been one of the tricksters many pranks!  The interviewer questioned why Bieber has appeared in the show. Was it to boost ratings or was he genuinely a good actor?  Helgenberger responded by saying, “Justin Beiber wasn’t bad bad, but he’d never acted before…. he’s better than you’d think.”

This seems a bit odd because earlier this year executive producer Carol Mendelsohn talked to USA Today about Justin’s appearance.   She said that he did “a really good job.” There was no mention of closets or cakes in Carol’s interview.

When Bieber talked about the role, which aired in the US back in February, he said, “It was really cool because I actually… I get shot, like several times. I fall down and there’s fake blood and everything. It’s crazy how the whole process is.”

It seems that all other reports of Bieber’s appearance have been nothing but positive.   So what do you think?  Is Helgenberger trying to gain attention or show us Bieber’s true colors?
