Kamofie & Company Owners Sad Over Lindsay Lohan Charges

Now that Lindsay Lohan is facing up to a year in state prison for allegedly stealing a $2,500 from Kamofie & Company, the owners of the store say that they are saddened that she could possibly go to prison.

Now that they have gone to the police and have said that she stole their property, the owners of the shop are sad that it has come to this.

Owner of the company, Geoff Kaman, said that he and his wife “are extremely sad on how all of this has turned out.”

Still, they have given the authorities their full cooperation in the case that led Lindsay to be charged with grand theft. I can’t say that I blame them, they only wanted their property back or paid for, but Lindsay allegedly took it from their store.

If they let one person, celebrity or not, take their property without paying for it, what’s to say that anyone should? It really sets the precedent in celebrity theft cases. Just because of who she is, doesn’t mean that she can just walk in and take stuff without paying for it, right?

Obviously, they are saddened, but not sorry. I don’t blame them one bit. I would’ve pressed charges, as well.

How do you feel about today’s events?
